Who we are

uTapiT is a product of CarveIT Labs, Sangamner, Maharashtra, India. CarveIT Labs is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

Business accounts (data you give us)

When you sign up we store your email address, your name if you give it, your business details, locations, review products, and — where you buy hardware — a shipping address and order and billing records. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Razorpay); we receive a payment reference and status, and we never see or store your full card, UPI or bank details. Your account data is visible only to members of your business and to uTapiT staff who need it to provide support.

Customers who scan a product

Customers are anonymous. We do not ask for or store their name, email address, phone number or IP address, and we do not place advertising or tracking cookies on their device. We record only the product that was scanned, a randomly generated session reference, the rating chosen, which suggestion was used, and whether the text was copied and the Google link opened.

Review suggestions

Suggestions are drawn from our own curated dataset of review wording, matched to your business category and the rating the customer chose. There is no third-party AI service involved and no customer-identifying information is sent anywhere. Suggestions are stored with the session so you can see what was offered.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use only strictly necessary, first-party cookies and local storage — to keep you signed in, remember which business you are viewing, and remember your light/dark preference. We do not use advertising, cross-site or analytics-tracking cookies, and there are no third-party trackers on the site. How long we keep data

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as long afterwards as we are required to for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Anonymous review-session records are kept to power your analytics and may be aggregated over time. When you delete your account we remove your business data, except records we are legally required to retain.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us to access or correct your personal data, withdraw consent, or delete your account and its data. You can deactivate products and locations yourself from the dashboard at any time. To exercise any of these rights, or to raise a grievance, contact our Grievance Officer (below) and we will respond within the timelines the law requires.

What we never do

• We never post a review on anyone’s behalf.
• We never hide low ratings from Google.
• We never sell business or customer data.
• We never claim to know whether a review was actually published.
