What we collect, plainly.

Business accounts

When you sign up we store your email address, your name if you give it, your business details, locations, review products and billing records. This data belongs to your business and is only visible to members of it and to uTapiT staff who need it for support.

Customers who scan a product

Customers are anonymous. We do not ask for or store their name, email address, phone number or IP address, and we do not place advertising or tracking cookies on their device. We record the product that was scanned, a randomly generated session reference, the rating chosen, which suggestion was used, and whether the text was copied and the Google link opened.

AI suggestions

Suggestion text is generated from your business name, its category and the rating chosen. No customer-identifying information is ever sent to the AI provider, and suggestions are stored with the session so you can see what was offered.

What we never do

• We never post a review on anyone's behalf.
• We never hide low ratings from Google.
• We never sell business or customer data.
• We never claim to know whether a review was actually published.

Deletion

You can deactivate products and locations at any time from the dashboard. To delete your business account and its data entirely, contact us and we will remove it.
